Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or Gili located in the northwest of Lombok. Trawangan is also the only one of Gili Islands that altitude above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and width of 2 km, Trawangan populated about 800 people. Among the three of Gili Islands, Trawangan has facilities for the most diverse tourists; The tavern " Tîr na Nôg" claims that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world with its Irish bar. The most populous part is the east of the island.
Trawangan has a feel of "party" than Gili Meno and Gili Air, because of the many parties throughout the night that each night rotated its show by some crowded places. There are also several places for tourists to learn how to ride by horse around the island.
