Welcome to this fascinating event known as Kuta Karnival in Bali, Indonesia. The Kuta Karnival event will be starting from 10 October 2012 on the glorious Kuta beach in Bali. The previous edition of this event has witnessed large number of tourists from round the globe in Bali. This years Kuta Karnival promises more fun and excitement on the beaches of Kuta, Bali. The Kuta Karnival has acclaimed an international fame today. It attracts visitors to Indonesia during September. This vibrant and colorful festival has a unique charm and grandeur that is typical of Indonesia. This is a great time to enjoy with friends and family. For Indonesian the Kuta Karnival is a time to take a break from the regular schedule. The Kuta Karnival is generally charecterised by performances by different local and international bands accompanied with various other performances and a wide range of music tastes from Hip Hop, Punk, Pop and Rock to Jazz and Blues Ethnic Fusion on stages along Kuta and Legian Beach fronts. A street parade is generally held accompanied with floats, dancers, gamelans, unicyclists, Big Bikes and Scooters and other motor clubs, decorated Dokars and others added by local businesses and Balinese community groups. There are also various kinds of competitions like surfing and skateboarding competitions, to Mini Iron Man, Paddle Rescue Board and Swim Race. The visitors are also entertained with live music performances on the beach stage along with DJ Chill out sessions, fashion shows, world champion bartender performance, cabaret shows and many more. The Kuta Karnival also offers food stalls and children arena with entertainment, clowns, craft making, balloons and games. You can also taste the exotic Indonesian cuisine in this festival like Ayam Taliwang, Bakmi Goreng (Fried Noodles), Bakwan Malang (meatball noodle soup with fried wontons from city of Malang), Gudeg (raw jackfruit that cooked in a Javanese traditional way that originated from Yogyakarta), Gulai (Indonesian curry), Nasi Campur or Nasi Rames (Mixed Rice), Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) and many others.
The last two days of Kuta Carnival were marked with a culinary festival that catered more than 30,000 visitors. Dozens of noted restaurants and cafes located around the Kuta region, such as Queen Tandoor, Papas Cafe, Fukutaru Japanese Restaurant and Hard Rock CafÃƒÂ© participated in this festival as well as local farmers offering fresh vegetables, various kinds of fresh fruits and byproducts such as juices and cakes and local restaurateurs with their irresistible traditional Balinese dishes such as suckling pig and tipat cantok, not to mention traditional Balinese snack and drink. This food festival offered vast selections of foods that catered all visitorsâ€™ taste.
