One Arsenal star Lukas Podolski Arsenal love batik shades are custom made from Indonesia ahead of the Asian tour.
Arsenal will undergo a pre-season tour in Asia, and Jakarta became the first stopover place. The Gunners squad leave for Jakarta today, and will be diving duel against Indonesia Dream Team at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Sunday (14/7) evening hrs.
Before heading to Jakarta, six Arsenal players, namely Tomas Rosicky, Olivier Giroud, Mikel Arteta, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, and Wojciech Szczesny to wear batik style.
Batik is specially ordered from Indonesia. Batik is one of Indonesia's traditional clothing and a national identity. The Arsenal players wear it in a photo shoot.
Arsenal management will make batik six players used it as a gift to their fans who take a quiz on her Twitter account. But of those six players, only Podolski who want to keep the batik.
"Luke is very fond of wearing batik, and ask to be hers. But we will give batik other players via our Twitter account, "Arsenal said in a statement on their official website.
