Departure to Ijen highlands from the village of Licin and we through coffee and clove plantations and hike along a shaded path to Ijen Crater, along shady trail with spectacular views of light, turquoise or purplish green surface with distinct smoke coming out from the active site of ridge. Our next step by crossing the sea of sand to get to the feet of Mount Bromo and then by local transport Jeep and pony ride climbing up the trek. The spectacular chain of the volcano is unveiling itself in a magnificent view. Bromo Crater is one of the multitudes of active crater through out Java. The extraordinary moonlike atmosphere and opportunity to stare into the crater are the reasons for visiting.
