South Bali – East

The newly – developed tourist area of Tanjung Benoa features moderately – priced resorts with relaxed face. Sanur offers craft, art, clothing and antique shops in addition to a sheltered beach and many sports.
North and Central Bali
Is where you will find the areas of Ubud, Lovina and Menjangan Island. Inland you will discover Ubud, perched on the gentle slopes leading towards the central mountains. As the cultural and artistic centre of Bali, Ubud has managed to retain its relaxed atmosphere and picturesque scenery. The township is dotted with galleries, museums, bookstores and artists’ homes which are open to public. Lovina, to the east of Menjangan Island, offers a relaxed village lifestyle, dolphin sighting trips, black volcanic sand beaches, calm waters and spectacular sunsets. For excellent snorkeling and scuba diving you can’t beat Menjangan Island off the north – western tip of Bali. |
